Roger M. Buergel, der Direktor des Johann Jacobs Museums in Zürich, spürt in seinem Ausstellungsprogramm seit 2013 «den weltumspannenden Verflechtungen unserer Lebenswelt» nach. Damit knüpft er an einen kuratorischen Ansatz an, den er als künstlerischer Leiter der documenta 12 (2007) in einem grösseren Rahmen erprobt hatte.
